This was one of the dancing areas at the hippy techno festival. They played techno music all day, every day, except for during siesta time from 4-7pm. That’s literally the only time people slept I think. Imagine boom, boom, boom, boom boom all day and all night and all morning in the middle of the Patagonia mountains.
I’m pretty sure the only way people were able to stay up all day and night was the drugs. I love that I can have fun doing stuff sober that other people need drugs for, but at the same time, it’s one of the most isolating feelings in the world. To not be on the same psychic plane as everyone around you. As much fun as I had at this festival, it was extremely challenging as well. Bitter sweet.
But no regrets.
