I love this essay.

 I believe the same rule applies for all fields and all groups who’ve been discriminated against.  Whites need to stand up for people of color, heterosexuals stand up for homosexuals, men for women.  That’s, after all, how the civil rights movement got its momentum decades ago.  As sad as it is, it was seeing the white advocates of civil rights getting attacked by dogs and pummeled with fire hoses that got the attention of other whites.  The most memorable speech I’ve ever heard about women’s rights was given by a man actually.  I still think about it.

So yeah, join us guys. We’re tired.
